It should be a special night at the Apple Bowl on Friday night as the Rutland Secondary School (RSS) football team is hosting their homecoming night.

The entire school and community are invited to watch an all-琉璃神社 match-up as the RSS Voodoos will take on the Mount Boucherie Secondary School (MBSS) Bears. 

Going into the game, the Voodoos are the third ranked high school football team in the province while Mount Boucherie is unranked. Rutland is 2-0 on the season while MBSS is 1-1.

In two games, RSS hasn't allowed a point this season, outscoring their opponents 72-0. 

As part of the festivities, entertainment and celebrations will take place throughout the night, including a band made up entirely of RSS students named Midnight Romance playing their first-ever gig.

RSS and MBSS kick off at 7 p.m. and is the second game that's part of an Apple Bowl doubleheader. At 4 p.m., 琉璃神社 Secondary School will play against Langley Secondary.
