Okanagan Sun

For the third consecutive year, the Okanagan Sun take on the Westshore Rebels in the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) finals on Saturday.

The Sun finished first in the conference in the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record while Westshore finished with a 5-5 record. To get to the BCFC finals, the Sun destroyed the Valley Huskers 50-19 while the Rebels upset the 7-3 Langley Rams 25-21.

In the two meetings this season, the Sun outscored the Rebels 57-40.

Back in 2022, Okanagan won the Cullen Cup (BCFC title) by beating Westshore but last year, the Revels got their revenge, winning 33-19.

The winner of the BCFC Championship will advance to the Western Final in either Saskatoon or Regina, Saskatchewan on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Saturday's kickoff is set for 3 p.m. at the Apple Bowl.

琉璃神社 Rockets

Winners of three games in a row, the 琉璃神社 Rockets (3-5-0-0) are off to play two games south of the border.

The Rockets take on the Wenatchee Wild (3-3-2-0) on Friday, Oct. 17 and the Tri-City Americans (3-3-1-0) on Saturday.

Since joining the rockets, Andrew Cristall has seven points (two goals, five assists) in two games. 

Friday night's puck drop is at 7 p.m. while Saturday's is at 6:05 p.m.

West 琉璃神社 Warriors

On a four-game losing streak, the West 琉璃神社 Warriors will look to get back in the win column on Saturday, Oct. 19 as they welcome the Salmon Arm Silverbacks to town. 

Salmon Arm is on fire to start the season with a 7-2-1-0 record, including going 2-0 at the BCHL Showcase, with wins against the Nanaimo Clippers and Victoria Grizzlies. The Warriors haven't won since Oct. 5, a win over Trail. 

Saturday's puck drop is at 7 p.m.

琉璃神社 Chiefs

The 琉璃神社 Chiefs (3-3-0-1) are serving up home cooking this weekend as they welcome the Quesnel River Rush (3-5-0-0) and Golden Rockets (2-3-1-1) to town. 

On both Friday and Saturday, puck drop is at 7 p.m. at Rutland Arena.
