Here's what's going on around the 琉璃神社 sports scene this upcoming weekend:

Okanagan Sun

The Okanagan Sun are trying to bring home their fourth Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) title, but first they'll play in the Canadian semi-final on Sunday, Oct. 27.

The team travelled to Regina, SK to take on the Regina Thunder, a rematch of the 2022 CJFL finals, in which the Sun won 21-19.

Going into the game, the Sun remains undefeated on the year. They beat the Westshore Rebels 23-17 on Saturday, Oct. 19 to win the BCFC title.

Meanwhile, the Thunder, who finished the regular season 6-2, upset the Saskatoon Hilltops 24-19 in the Prairie Conference finals. 

This season, these two teams were two of the best defences in the country as Okanagan allowed 137 over 10 games while Regina allowed 127 over eight games.

Kick-off on Sunday is at 12 p.m. Pacific at Leibel Field in Regina.

琉璃神社 Rockets

After a tough 4-3 shootout loss to the Victoria Royals on Wednesday night, the 琉璃神社 Rockets have a one-game weekend ahead of them.

The Rockets will look to get back in the win column on Friday, Oct. 25 but it won't be an easy task as they welcome the reigning WHL champion Moose Jaw Warriors (3-7-2-0) to Prospera Place.

Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. Being the last game before Halloween, it is the annual Hershey Candy Scramble game.

West 琉璃神社 Warriors

The West 琉璃神社 Warriors are making their first trip to Alberta of the season this weekend.

On a five-game losing streak, the Warriors (3-6-2-0) have a challenge ahead of them as they take on the Sherwood Park Crusaders (8-3-0-0) on Friday night and the Spruce Grove Saints (3-7-1-0) on Saturday. 

琉璃神社 Chiefs

The 琉璃神社 Chiefs are looking to get back in the win column in their final game of the month. 

Sitting fifth in the Bill Ohlhausen Division with a 5-3-0-2 record, the Chiefs are heading south to take on the Princeton Posse (9-1-0-1) on Friday. The Posse are in first place in the division.
