Rorke Applebee has been recognized for being a brick wall in net for the West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Warriors.
Warriors goaltender Rorke Applebee was named the BCHL’s first star of the week for the week of Nov. 26-Dec. 2.
The 20-year old Chateauguay, Que. native made 48 saves on 49 shots in wins against Vernon and Merritt, as the Warriors extended their winning streak to five games.
He’s currently 10-4-1-0 on the season, with a 2.47 goals against average (GAA) and .907 save percentage.
Applebee and the Warriors are back in action on Saturday night when they will welcome the Trail Smoke Eaters to Royal LePage Place for their annual Teddy Bear Toss game. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
