When Orchard Ford first opened its doors in back in 1983, the dealership would have looked much different, showcasing seventh-generation F-series pickups and Broncos.
Since then, B.C’s No. 1 Ford Dealership has seen over 40 years of innovation and cutting edge technology come through its dealership.
As we near the first quarter of the 21st century, is proud to showcase the future of automotive technology with a suite of electric vehicles that include the Ford Mach-E and its flagship F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck.
As these modern vehicles continue to make waves on the market, Orchard Ford Sales and Leasing expert, Adam Boast says he is proud to see Ford Motors leading the charge with EV adapters that will enable Ford electric vehicles to be charged at Tesla power stations throughout the province.
“An adapter like this opens up the market for your Ford EV. Tesla has the largest, most reliable charging network, so EV owners can charge almost anywhere they stop at. This will be a weight off the shoulders of Ford EV owners,” Boast says.
The new addition allows for a significant increase in driving range than ever before. Previously, Ford EVs could only be used under third-party charging networks provided under Go Electric BC. or at a Ford dealership – all offer charging stations for all Ford owners.
With a 3.3 cent hike in gas prices striking the wallets of B.C. drivers this April, more Canadians are bound to consider swapping their petrol-powered car with a more cost-friendly alternative. If that’s the case, Boast recommends customers consider the following as they make their decision:
Electric Efficiency – The Ford Mach-E is an all-electric vehicle, which means it offers zero tailpipe emissions and reduces your carbon footprint. It’s not only environmentally friendly but also helps you save on ever-rising fuel costs.
Cutting-Edge Technology – The Ford Mach-E comes equipped with modern technology features, including a large touchscreen infotainment system, driver-assistive technologies such as adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, and over-the-air software updates that continuously improve performance and add new features.
Practicality and Versatility – With its crossover SUV design, the Ford Mach-E offers plenty of interior space for passengers and cargo. The rear seats can be folded down to provide even more cargo room, making it suitable for everyday commuting, road trips and hauling gear or groceries. Additionally, the Mach-E’s fast-charging capability allows for convenient long-distance travel with minimal charging downtime.
For the month of April, Orchard Ford is leasing their 2023 Mach-E vehicles for as low as 0.99 per cent. On top of that, government incentives are now $9,000 off for EV owners who qualify.
Additionally, the Ford F-150 Lightnings are $8,000 off or 0 per cent financing.
