Of the 30 rescued, 12 pooches have made their way to the 琉璃神社 shelter where they are receiving some much-needed room to run, cuddles and medical and dental care.
The 琉璃神社 shelter hopes to have eight of the 12 dogs up for adoption by this weekend.
As for the dog鈥檚 original owner, evidence is being gathered and it is not yet known whether the owner will be criminally charged.

Another puppy breeder in B.C. has had animals removed by the BC SPCA.
Constables took 24 small dogs and puppies along with six cats from a breeding operation near Lillooet.
All of the animals were suffering from severe neglect according to the SPCA鈥檚 Lorie Chortyk.
Earlier this month BC SPCA constables seized 16 dogs and four cats from the remote property. Then this past weekend a further eight dogs and two cats were surrendered to the SPCA.
Kent Kokoska, senior animal protection officer for the BC SPCA, said the canines taken into care include 15 Havanese and Havanese-cross dogs, eight Yorkie-cross dogs and one emaciated Husky cross.
鈥淭he dogs were kept in a filthy environment with high levels of ammonia from urine and they have serious dental disease and badly matted fur,鈥 explained Kokoska. 鈥淪ome of the dogs were being kept in a chicken coup filled with chicken and dog feces and one of the dogs and two puppies were being kept in a rodent cage.鈥
Kokoska said the four cats removed from the property were severely matted and were also living in filthy and hazardous conditions, without proper ventilation and light.
All of the animals are being cared for at SPCA facilities in Kamloops and 琉璃神社.
The BC SPCA investigation continues and charges of animal cruelty may be recommended in the case.
