The 琉璃神社 Fire Department shared the finer aspects of the firefighting profession Sunday morning during an open house at 琉璃神社's main fire hall.
Members of the KFD demonstrated extraction and high-angle rescues, fire extinguishing techniques, a live burn and displayed emergency vehicles and equipment.
The family-oriented event, which featured a pancake breakfast, was held in support of the 琉璃神社 Professional Firefighters Charitable Society.
