Collins will be entitled to severance pay, though 鈥渢hat amount has not yet been finalized,鈥 says BC Ferries.

The board added that it is pleased to announce the appointment of Jill Sharland as interim president and CEO. She is being promoted from vice-president and chief financial officer.

The B.C. Ferry Services Board noted that 鈥渁 robust and professional search鈥 will soon be launched for a permanent CEO.
