The last baby to be born in 2023 at Penticton General Hospital is Arlo William Richardson.
Coming in at a perfect six pounds and 14.5 oz, Arlo was welcomed into the world on New Year鈥檚 Eve.
鈥淗e was the last baby born in 2023 in the Penticton hospital which makes his birthday 123123, something that only happens with dates once in a century,鈥� said proud mom Sam Richardson of Oliver. 鈥淚t鈥檚 pretty special, just like him.鈥�
Arlo is their second baby and the little brother to a proud big sister Ember who is five.
Another neat fact is that Arlo is now the third generation to be born at Penticton Regional Hospital.
His grandma Monica and his mom were born at the local PRH.
Arlo will be welcomed into his work family too, as his mom is the manager of InnerVisions Salon in Oliver and his grandma Monica owns the popular hair studio.
According to Interior Health, the first baby born in 2024 at the Penticton hospital was a baby boy at 17:53. The parents have chosen not to release any further information.
