The Canucks Autism Network will be hosting a free mini golf event for families living with autism in 琉璃神社 on Sunday, July 17, at 19 Greens.
Families do not need to be Canucks Autism Network (CAN) members to attend but they are asked to RSVP by completing a short form located at www.canucksautism.ca/interior. Families will be able to register for a one hour session of mini-golf between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
The goal of the event is to bring families living with autism together and to connect with the 琉璃神社 community as a means to bring awareness to Canucks Autism Network programs in the region.
"The ultimate hope is that we will welcome new CAN members (membership is only $25 per year) so we can further increase our presence in the Okanagan region," said a representative of the organization.
