Thunderstorms are on the way to the Okanagan.
Environment Canada issued a severe thunderstorm watch at 1:35 p.m. on Friday, July 7, stating 鈥渃onditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.鈥�
The watch is for the entire Central Okanagan, as well as Vernon and Penticton.
