Cops for Kids have been raising funds for Vernon youth for years. This winter, a stationary bike charity ride will take place.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP officers will be clipping in their pedals in an effort to raise funds for local children.

A Charity Spin event gets in gear Sunday, Nov. 19, at World Health and Fitness on Anderson Way.

Those interested in participating can sign up for 30-minute spin classes at 9, 10, 11 a.m., and 12 p.m.

Each participant will enjoy refreshments and receive a swag bag of goodies from local businesses supporting Cops for Kids.

All funds raised will support local children in medical, physical or traumatic crisis.

"Thank you for all your support for this great cause," said Cpl. Tania Finn, media relations officer.
