Flames lit up the night on Middleton Mountain early Thursday morning.
A vehicle fire was sparked at approximately 12:30 a.m., Oct. 24 in the 900 block of Mount Ida Drive.
"Upon arrival, crews confirmed a fully involved vehicle in the parking spot of a residence," said Josh Winquist, Vernon media relations officer.
Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire but the investigation is ongoing.
