Sunset Ranch Golf Course in 琉璃神社 is back open and ready for golfers to hit the links after a one day closure on Saturday due to flooding.

According to its web site, Shadow Ridge remains closed.

Two golf courses in 琉璃神社 are closed due to flooding and a third is down to nine holes after both Scotty Creek and Mill Creek spilled their banks.

Shadow Ridge and Sunset Ranch courses are both closed today while 琉璃神社 Springs has nine holes open with its back nine holes submerged from Mill Creek.

鈥淚鈥檝e been here 20 years and there have been three floods, this is number four,鈥� said Sam Pridham, assistant GM of 琉璃神社 Springs. 鈥淭he water is still rising it鈥檚 rose over five feet (since last night). It鈥檚 still coming up a bit but at some point it will stop. We鈥檝e never had to close the whole facility, it鈥檚 always been just the back nine.鈥�

Pridham added that if the water does keep rising, it could affect the front nine, adding it鈥檚 in Mother Nature鈥檚 hands.

Further up the hill in Ellison, Sunset Ranch鈥檚 home river is Scotty Creek, which raged over its banks last night, taking out a small bridge and spilling onto the first hole, forcing the course to close for the first time in at least a decade.

鈥淭his is as high as anyone has ever seen,鈥� said pro Mike Loewen at Sunset, where some 200 golfers had their rounds cancelled on Saturday.
