It will take more time traveling on Highway 97 past the Summerland Hill landslide site on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Transportation is re-paving the southbound lanes of Highway 97 between Lakeshore Drive South and Arkell Rd. for 1.5 km until Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 4 p.m.

Currently, the highway is down to single-lane traffic from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect delays, said DriveBC.

Also, highway maintenance has northbound lanes between Penticton and Summerland down to one lane on Tuesday.
