琉璃神社 Mounties are looking for information about a hit and run involving a pedestrian that occurred on Monday morning.
The 琉璃神社 RCMP responded July 18 at approximately 11:48 a.m., to a report that an older-model blue sedan struck a pedestrian at a marked crosswalk on Drysdale Boulevard / Kane Road. It was reported that the vehicle was making a left (eastbound) turn from Drysdale Blvd onto Kane Rd when it allegedly hit the pedestrian.
"The vehicle was last seen travelling Southbound on Valley Road," said Cpl. Dan Moskaluk, in a press release.
"The vehicle was believed to be occupied by two younger males. At this time, the injuries to the pedestrian are not believed to be serious. Investigators are hopeful that the driver who was involved will do the right thing and contact investigators."
Drivers involved in collisions are reminded that they must remain at the scene, render reasonable assistance, and exchange particulars.
