A officer facing theft and breach-of-trust charges was slated to appear in court on Tuesday.
Sgt. Darrell Robinson and four counts of theft for allegedly removing two firearms, "growing nutrients," and a generator, from an exhibit locker.
Robinson is currently suspended with pay.
He is the second officer from the Lillooet detachment to be charged with theft from a police exhibit locker.
Last June, the detachment announced that Const. Tony Lee was charged with two counts of theft of a firearm and one count of possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm.
Lee is alleged to have stolen a modified flare gun and is currently on administrative leave with his on-duty status subject to ongoing reviews, police said.
Both Lee and Robinson were charged following an internal audit and investigation in early 2015.
The review uncovered evidence of improper processing and handling of exhibit items that were set to be destroyed, police said.
Mounties said the incidents involving Robinson took place between May of 2010 and July 2012. Lee is alleged to have stolen the flare gun in March of 2013.
鈥淭he integrity of our exhibit handling and processes are a priority for the RCMP,鈥 said Chief Supt. Brad Haugli, southeast district commander. 鈥淎llegations of police officer misconduct are rare, but taken seriously.鈥
Lee and Robinson also face an RCMP internal investigation.
Lee pled guilty earlier this year to mischief and received an absolute discharge.
