A truck stolen out of Kamloops was returned to its owner after the vehicle was located by police in the Salmon Arm Industrial Park.
Patrolling officers located the vehicle, a Dodge Ram pickup truck 鈥渨ith newly spray-painted autobody parts,鈥� around 10 a.m. on Monday, May 20. Police queried the vehicle and found it was reported stolen out of Kamloops on May 19.
鈥淧olice located a lone man inside the Dodge Ram and arrested him for possession of property obtained by crime,鈥� said Const. Andrew Hodges in a media release.
RCMP forwarded charges to the BC Prosecution for assessment, and the man was released with a future court date scheduled.
