Drivers headed west on Highway 1 near Salmon Arm are advised to take an alternate route after a motor vehicle incident closed the road.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, and at 7:09 p.m. DriveBC announced the full closure of a 3.1 kilometre stretch of the highway between Sandy Point Road and 2nd First Nations Road.
Drivers can, however, avoid the delay by taking the roundabout way via Highway 97 and 97A/97B to bypass the area.
