Snowy driving conditions today

Mountain passes have not seen an end to the snow just yet.

There will be some snow on the connector, April 10.

If you鈥檙e going to be driving through mountains, you may want to consider slowing down the shift into spring.

Winter tires are only required in higher elevations from Oct. 1 to March 31, but they will would come in handy today.

On the Okanagan Connector, from Merritt to 琉璃神社 it鈥檚 expected to be cloudy with periods of snow beginning in the morning with five to 10 cm is expected to fall.

On Highway 3, near Princeton, a few early flurries are expected to leave two centimetres of snow on the road.

As the morning progresses it will change to rain and there鈥檚 a risk of a thunderstorm this afternoon.
