RCMP continue to work closely with the BC Coroners Service as they investigate the suspicious death of Rita LeHockey.

鈥淭he investigation is ongoing at this time and the 琉璃神社 RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS) continue to work closely with the BC Coroners Service,鈥� said Const. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey.

鈥淎n autopsy has been conducted, however investigators are still awaiting the toxicology results before classifying Rita鈥檚 death. Toxicology results could take a matter of days or up to several weeks."

Investigators continue to ask anyone with any information, regarding Rita鈥檚 time line for July 1, to come forward and speak to police.
