Mounties thank 琉璃神社 volunteers

The 琉璃神社 RCMP Regional Detachment benefits from over 200 volunteers in 琉璃神社, West 琉璃神社, and Lake Country.

As National Volunteer Appreciation Week draws to the end the 琉璃神社 RCMP Regional Detachment extended  thanks to their large dedicated group of volunteers.

April 10  thru 16 is National Volunteer Week, where the Nation comes together to express their gratitude millions of volunteers across Canada. The 琉璃神社 RCMP Regional Detachment benefits from over 200 volunteers whose efforts support our ongoing activities in the Communities of 琉璃神社, West 琉璃神社, and Lake Country.

These amazing individuals dedicate countless hours volunteering in areas such as staffing our many Community Policing Officer, being a part of our Citizens on Patrol, Speed Watch and Child ID programs, in administrative tasks and countless other ways.

鈥淲ithout our volunteers our detachments could not continue to provide the high level of police service delivery and community engagement we currently provide,鈥 said Const. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey.

Volunteers not only provide their invaluable service but they also fulfill the essential role of being a bridge between the detachment and the Communities they serve.

鈥淚 would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of the members and staff of the 琉璃神社 Regional Detachment, to extend our sincere appreciation for your dedicated service as RCMP Volunteers and your commitment to making a difference in our community,鈥 said  Supt. Nick Romanchuk.
