Rising water levels continue to keep North Westside residents and emergency crews on edge.
Sandbagging was done in Valley of the Sun Tuesday night, but it鈥檚 not the only subdivision being impacted by flooding.
鈥淚t鈥檚 all through the North Westside area,鈥 said Jason Satterthwaite, North Westside fire chief.
Fuelling the flooding are surface and groundwater sources.
鈥淕roundwater is coming over banks we haven鈥檛 seen before,鈥 said Satterthwaite.
In the Valley of the Sun subdivision, the problems have been around Lambert Creek.
And weather patterns are also proving challenging.
鈥淚t won鈥檛 take much for the rain to change things further,鈥 said Satterthwaite.
There鈥檚 been a quick response to flooding in the North Westside Road area by firefighters.
While Tuesday night is generally set aside for practices, North Westside firefighters spent the evening sandbagging.
鈥淥ur guys have been out a lot,鈥 said Satterthwaite.
