A wharf in downtown Peachland is in rough shape and councillors will decide whether to allocate $50,000 in order to repair it.
The wharf, located along Beach Avenue, is nearing the end of its life, according to a which will be presented to council at tonight鈥檚 regular council meeting.
The wharf was supposed to be repaired in 2018, but prior to that flooding in the region pushed back the repair date to 2019.
Staff are recommending the approval of the early budget request, so the wharf can be repaired before the summer.
A multi-year plan is in place for the restoration of the wharf, and if approved, the first two phases will be completed.
