Once again, careless driving habits have led to a crash in 琉璃神社
The crash along Clement Avenue on Tuesday, April 26, sent one man to hospital after his vehicle was hit and it flipped onto its roof.
At 11:04 a.m., the 琉璃神社 RCMP learned of the crash on Clement Avenue at Clifton Road.
Police determined that a Mitsubishi SUV and a Chevrolet pickup were both north-bound on Clement, when the driver of the Mitsubishi attempted to change lanes without checking for another vehicle driving in that lane. The SUV struck the pick-up which then struck the curb and flipped into the ditch.
The driver of the pick-up, a man in his 60s, sustained minor non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
The driver of the SUV was a woman in her 60s. She was fined $109 under the Motor Vehicle Act for changing lanes unsafely.
