West 琉璃神社 RCMP located the suspect of an armed robbery which took place May 22.

At 1:19 a.m., police received a report of a robbery committed at the Shell Gas Station located in the 2500 block of Dobbin Road.

Police determined the suspect entered the business, produced a knife, demanded money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The lone store clerk was not injured during the incident.

鈥淎 West 琉璃神社 mountie located a male matching the suspect鈥檚 description,within blocks of where the alleged robbery had been committed,鈥� said Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey. 鈥淭hat suspect was taken into police custody without incident. Police service dog Fitz was brought to the scene and performed a confirmation track which led from the targeted business to the suspect.鈥�

A 43-year-old West 琉璃神社 man faces potential charges. He is expected to appear in court today.
