Police search for owner of missing ring

A men鈥檚 anniversary ring was dropped off at the 琉璃神社 RCMP detachment

琉璃神社 RCMP members are searching for the owner of a missing anniversary ring.

Police wish to re-unite the rightful owner with what appears to be their 50th wedding anniversary ring which was dropped off at the RCMP detachment.

On May 24, police accepted a found men鈥檚 gold ring at the front counter of the RCMP detachment in downtown 琉璃神社.

Investigators have been unable to locate any police records where the ring has been reported as lost or stolen and are turning to the public to help find its rightful owner.

鈥淭he ring has a very distinctive engraving on the inside of the yellow gold band. A portion of the personalized engraving reads 鈥50 years 2003,鈥欌 said Cpl. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey. 鈥淚f this is your ring, you are asked to contact the 琉璃神社 RCMP, to provide the remainder of the rings engraving, to confirm the rings purity of gold in karats and supply any additional proof of ownership.鈥
