The individual presumed drowned in Okanagan Lake is an 18-year-old man from Surrey.

Sources close to the family confirm the young man was in ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç on vacation.

Original story:

A man is presumed drowned after falling into Okanagan Lake at the downtown ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç marina and not resurfacing on Saturday evening.

At 6:50 p.m., ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç RCMP responded to a man who fell into the water at the marina gas bar and did not resurface. ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç officers, along with ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç Fire Department and search and rescue were on scene all evening searching for the man.

ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç RCMP had requested the public avoid the area while the search was ongoing. The marina is located off Bernard Avenue.
