The 琉璃神社 RCMP is looking to identify the victim of a serious assault in order to advance their investigation.
According to police, the assault took place on Lawrence Avenue near Water Street at about 3:30 a.m. on Saturday April 1.
鈥淚nvestigators were able to view CCTV footage which depicted the victim and are now seeking to identify the victim who has yet to come forward,鈥 said Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.
鈥淭he victim may have been near that same intersection, interacting with people and vehicles for some time prior to being assaulted.鈥
The victim is described as an adult male, with dark hair, wearing dark pants, a light colour long sleeve shirt and carrying a dark jacket over his shoulder. He was last seen walking north bound on Water Street. Investigators would like to speak to the victim.
鈥淭he evidence suggests that this person may have suffered injuries to the face and upper body,鈥 adds Moskaluk.
鈥淩CMP investigators have released an image of the victim in hopes of identifying the man.鈥
