March was a popular time to fly in-and-out of YLW.

Between spring break and escaping the winter blues 琉璃神社鈥檚 International Airport (YLW) was a flurry of activity during the month of March.

Last month was another record-breaking event for YLW, as more than 173,000 passengers came through the doors.

鈥淢arch proved to be the busiest month, in the history of the airport,鈥 said Airport Director, Sam Samaddar. 鈥淪pring break travellers and ideal ski conditions were certainly factors in these soaring passengers numbers. The weaker Canadian dollar also resulted in more Americans travelling north.鈥

The number of passengers is up from March of last year, by 14.2 per cent.
