According to Expedia.ca, four of the 55 coziest cities in Canada are right here in the Thompson-Okanagan region.

Vernon, West 琉璃神社, Osoyoos and Sun Peaks made the cut based on the user-submitted comfort ratings on Expedia.

鈥淲e analyzed thousands of verified Expedia.ca hotel user reviews from our 2015 data, and found the top Canadian cities with the ,鈥� explains Expedia.ca.

鈥淭hese reviews referenced everything from pillows to fireplaces and anything in between.鈥�

While there were no B.C. locations in the top then 鈥� of the local locations to get a nod Sun Peaks ranked 22nd, Vernon ranked 32nd, West 琉璃神社 got 41st spot and Osoyoos ranked 50th.

Other B.C. cities to make the cut include Sydney, Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Radium Hot Springs, Invermere, Squamish, Tofino, Courtenay, Richmond, Victoria, Whistler, Nelson and Fernie.
