A popular North Okanagan roadside attraction is under new ownership.
The Log Barn 1912 in Spallumcheen has been acquired by a Vancouver-based company led by a small group of Canadian entrepreneurs who are 鈥渓ooking to enhance The Log Barn 1912 experience to its customers.鈥
鈥淭he Log Barn 1912 will now be better than ever,鈥 said Pino Bacinello, president of Pacific M&A and Business Brokers, who assisted in putting the deal together, in a news release.
鈥淭he new ownership is focused on building the business and its community involvement. Under previous ownership the owners struggled to manage the growth due to lack of capital, which is not unusual for small business owners.
鈥淭he new owners are well-capitalized to take The Log Barn 1912 to a whole new level, and provide an even greater pleasurable experience to its patrons.鈥
Since opening in 1995, The Log Barn 1912 aimed at providing agricultural, local, and unique culinary pleasures and great fun for kids and the whole family.
鈥淲ith its objective to provide superior quality and unique products to not only the tourists passing through Highway 97A, but also to its local markets, the new owners will continue to provide employment and job opportunities for the Spallumcheen and neighbouring areas,鈥 said Bacinello.
The new owners will be focused on learning and determining the needs of their patrons to bring a whole new level of product, service, and experience.
