Stolen travel trailer destroyed in Vernon fire

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are asking for any information in regards to a travel trailer reported stolen, and destroyed by fire early Tuesday, Nov. 26, in the 9600 block of Eastside Road in Vernon.

Vernon North Okanagan RCMP are asking for the public's help in connection with an early morning fire Tuesday, Nov. 26, that destroyed a stolen travel trailer.

Police were called by Vernon Fire Rescue Services at around 5:30 a.m. after the firefighters responded to a report of a trailer on fire in the 9600 block of Eastside Road in Vernon, across from the entrance to Hurlburt Park.

"The trailer was completely destroyed as a result of the fire, and investigators have confirmed it to be stolen," said Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media liaison officer Const. Chris Terleski. 

The cause of the fire is unknown and anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Const. Mikolajewski at 250-545-7171 and quote file 2024-19776.
