A Salmon Arm man is steeped in legal trouble following the theft of iced tea from a local grocery store.
At 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 16, an employee at Save-on-Foods reported a theft after observing a man stealing two flats of Lipton Iced Tea from the front of the store.
"Police observed video surveillance and were able to identify the 39-year-old suspect, who was well known to police," Const. Andew Hodges said in a media release.
The tea party suspect was located and arrested later that day at 6 p.m., and subsequently released with a future court appearance.
