Two men are in custody facing charges as a 琉璃神社 police investigation continue to probe allegations of a serious assault allegedly committed Monday evening.

On Sept. 2 just before 7 p.m., the 琉璃神社 RCMP report to having been apprised of an individual receiving treatment for injuries consistent with an assault at the hospital. The victim鈥檚 injuries, although extensive, were believed to be non-life threatening in nature, say police.

A police investigation was sparked which has led investigators to the arrest of two suspects related to two separate properties on Hein Road in 琉璃神社.

鈥淭his appears to be an isolated incident,鈥� said RCMP Cst. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey. 鈥淎ll suspects have been arrested in connection to this incident and the public is not at risk."

A 46-year-old 琉璃神社 man faces potential assault related charges while a second 46-year-old 琉璃神社 man, faces potential charges including assault, weapons and drug related charges. Both men remain in police custody at this time and were expected to appear in court later today.
