On June 20, at 1:43 p.m., the 琉璃神社 RCMP were called to an undeveloped area on Black Mountain for a report of a body found.
Sadly the RCMP now confirm that the deceased has been positively identified as missing person, Sandra McLaughlan,
Const. Jesse O鈥橠onaghey said in a press release.
Sandra鈥檚 next of kin has now been notified of her passing.
The 琉璃神社 RCMP will continue to assist the BC Coroners Service in its investigation.

RCMP are currently on scene and investigating after the discovery of a body early Monday afternoon.
The 琉璃神社 RCMP were called at 1:43 p.m. Monday to an undeveloped area on Black Mountain for a report of a body found.
"The 琉璃神社 RCMP are currently on scene investigating at this time," said Const. Jesse O'Donaghey, in a press release.
"The RCMP are awaiting the arrival of the BC Coroner鈥檚 Service and have not yet confirmed a gender or an age of the deceased person. Police are treating the death as suspicious at this time until proven otherwise."
The investigation is in its early stages and the RCMP will provide updated information as it becomes available.
