A power outage in Vernon has caused over 3,500 residents to be without power.
Those impacted are located north of Mission Road, west of Bodwell Road, east of South Silversage Lane and south of Desert Drive.
The outage struck at 1:30 p.m, affecting 3,648 BC Hydro customers. Crews are currently on their way, with an estimated arrival of 2:50 p.m, and the cause is under investigation.
There was also a large tree branch that fell close to a car on 28th Street, near Beairsto. Crews are at the scene and taking care of it, although traffic is currently blocked both ways.
