The wildfire sparked by lightning on Aug. 5, is now considered under control.
BC Wildfire confirmed the blaze was under control by 2 p.m. Tuesday. The blaze grew to .17 hectares in size before being doused.

A fire suspected to be sparked by lightning on Aug. 5 near Marron River in the South Okanagan, has grown to .17 hectares in size.
According to BC Wildfire, the blaze is spreading or is anticipated to spread beyond the current perimeter, or control line.
There are no current evacuation orders or alerts issued for this fire.
Lightning sparked a wildfire in the hills above Kaleden on Aug. 5.
The wildfire is located near the intersection of Highway 3A and 97, in the area south of Fellis Creek.
It is currently listed as just 0.009 hectares in size. There are no current evacuation orders or alerts.
The fire was reported at about 9 p.m. on Aug. 5.
A lightning storm was passing through the area, with visible flashes in the clouds above Penticton at the time.
