It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father after a 7 year struggle with cancer.  Alex passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the age of 77.  He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Julie; 3 children Arlene, Lloyd and Stacey; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.  A special thank you for all the help and prayers from family, friends, the Cancer Clinic, and Hospice.  A Celebration of Alex鈥檚 life will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:00 am at Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Drive, 琉璃神社.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 琉璃神社 Hospice House, 2035 Ethel Street, 琉璃神社, BC V1Y 2Z6.
