March 6, 1937 - September 13, 2024

After a long, healthy life, well-lived and well-loved, Alex passed away unexpectedly at his beloved property in Rose Valley, West 琉璃神社, BC.

All his life Alex was a rugged individualist. Active, incredibly hardworking, fiercely independent, and young at heart, he had an unwavering faith in his Provider.

He especially enjoyed sharing the beauty of his country life with family and friends. Those who kicked a soccer ball with Alex will remember his life-long passion for the sport, and the encouragement he gave to "just have fun".

Alex goes to join his loving mother, Irene.

He is survived by his daughters Sandy, Erika, and Melinda and their spouses Doug and George; his granddaughters Ashley, Aimee, and Lauren, of whom he was immensely proud; their grandmother Elizabeth; as well as his caring friends.

Alex's family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who extended their kindness to him, especially during the past year. We will all miss his bright smile and spirited conversation.

Prayers will be held the night before the service on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Avenue, 琉璃神社, BC.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Avenue, 琉璃神社, BC. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com
