After a sudden stroke, Alfred passed away at 琉璃神社 General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. 鈥淥pa鈥 was born in Weinau, Ukraine on March 27, 1927 of German heritage. He and his family were displaced by World War II and Alfred ended up in England then Winnipeg. It was there he met his wife Christine and started their family. In 1966 the family relocated to 琉璃神社.
