Turner, B. Evelyn
October 26, 1933 – March 26, 2017
It is with sadness that the family of Evelyn Turner announce her passing on March 26, 2017. Evelyn was born in Westlock, AB and later moved to ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç, BC.
Evelyn met her husband, Ed Turner, in 1953 at a dance in Vernon and they were married in 1954. She worked at many places as a receptionist, transcriptionist, usherette and bookkeeper. She had a very active social life and enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing bridge and canasta, her ladies church groups and camping.
Evelyn was predeceased by her loving husband, Edward Turner, her parents, Harold and Mable Wightman, and brother-in-law’s, John and Rick Turner. She is survived by her children Lynn (Bruno) Gale, Bruce (Leigh) Turner, Susan (Ben) Blacklock, Nancy (Trevor) Moelaert, grandchildren, Jerred (Brianne), Kayla (Rich), Janine (Chad) and Dustin, step-grandchildren, Kris and Lori, great-grandchildren, Camryn, Cadynce, Quinn and Rylee, step-great-grandchild Brandon, Joshua and step-great-great-grandchild, Tyson, also her brothers, Ross (Aggie) Wightman and Gary (Barb) Wightman, as well as Ken Turner (brother-in-law) and Aggie Turner (sister-in-law).
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Lakeview Heights Baptist Church, 2650 Alhambra Dr., West ÁðÁ§ÉñÉç, BC.
