George Nater passed away peacefully on November 27, 2023, at the age of 79 years. He will be remembered with love and affection by his wife, Gabriele; sons, Steve and Thomas; grandchildren, Cassandra and Brian; great granddaughter, Stella; and many relatives and friends in Calgary, Germany and 琉璃神社. Born in Germany, George married the love of his life in 1966, and they began their life together by immigrating to Canada. Over the years, he took an active roll in youth soccer, hockey, and golf coaching. George will be remembered for his wry humour, amazing strength, and gentle ways.
