In loving memory ~

The family of Helen Irons (Brummitt) announces the peaceful passing of Helen on November 8th, 2023. Helen was born September 22nd, 1922, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Helen is survived by her daughter Marie. Helen is also survived by grandchildren Stephen and his son Miles; Melanie and her sons Phoenix and Hudson; Jennifer and her children Otis and Simone; and Marie's son Michael. She is also survived by Chris's wife Omalee Ogden; stepson David(Donna) and his family; and the family of stepdaughter Pat.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Tom in 1994 and second husband William in 2020. Helen was predeceased by both her sons Chris (2006) and Bob (2013). She was also predeceased by her parents and siblings.

Helen was a charter member of The Catholic Women's League, past president of the OK Mission Seniors Activity Center, Facilitator of the 琉璃神社 Cancer Support Group. Helen was very active in retirement spending many winters in Palm Springs and Yuma. Helen enjoyed camping (until she was 92 years old), fishing, golf, cards and etc. Helen really enjoyed travelling to European and North American destinations. A very special trip was to New Zealand with her lifelong friend Lucille Busch.

At Helen's request, there will be no service. A Graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association.
