MILNE, James Jimmy Joseph
October 25, 1958 - April 6, 2017
Jimmy passed away surrounded by family and friends, love, laughter, music and wine. He lived with cancer for 7 years. He and Pam traveled and lived life to the fullest; they did
more in their years than most of us do in our lifetimes. He is survived by the love of his life Pam Johnson, and siblings, Susan Downey (Mort), Patti Howard (John), Kathi Treacy (Kevin), Steve Milne (Kelly), Amy Ryan (Charlie), Janet Milne (Bill), sister-in-law Patty Johnson-Lynch (Scott), several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Jim was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. He lived in Florida, New York, Calgary and 琉璃神社, before settling in Vancouver where he created the life he always wanted with his
Pammy. He spent many years putting his charisma and business acumen to use as an extremely successful salesman. The latter part of his career he spent as VP of Sales and Operations for TAC Mobility. No one loved life
more than Jimmy. He had many passions including socializing and laughing with friends over several cocktails and traveling the world with his Pammy. He relished any
adventure that had to do with mountains, water and the golf courses in between. He was quick with a joke and loved to laugh especially at those 鈥渟picy鈥 ones! And boy did
he embellish on those stories. Jim touched many lives. He was a mentor to many, often sought out for his insight and guidance. He participated in innumerable charitable events
over the years including, in his later years while fighting cancer, teaching skiing to people with disabilities. And even though his family members were scattered across North
America, he made it a point to bring everyone together often. Jim was always the center of attention and you couldn鈥檛 help but be drawn to him. Although he鈥檚 no longer with us, he is entertaining elsewhere. Donations can made
