"Thank you for enriching the lives of whom you touched and thank you for giving us so many moments to cherish! We love you yesterday, today and will love you tomorrow."
It is with profound sadness that our truly beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson, and friend of many Keyshon Jerome Jackson, of 琉璃神社 B.C. passed suddenly on December 3rd, 2020. We are blessed to have had 21 years with the one of the worlds greatest treasures. The pain is deep, and tears will continue to flow.
Keyshon was the youngest of 3 children, born June 20, 1999 in Langley BC to proud parents Tim and Sheri Jackson. He excelled at everything he did, touching the lives of many. He loved sports and had an amazing talent for science and math. Keyshon's love for cooking was next level and his work ethic was strong, proudly learned from the Jackson 5. He was athletic, smart, funny and incredibly charming.
Keyshon had the ability to leave a lasting impression in his own quiet, kind way. He was a young man with a new zest for life. January 2021 he was moving to Toronto to live with his big brother, Raphael as a new homeowner. He was so excited to embark on this adventure and be closer to his big sister Latesha who lives in New York.
He loved his siblings so much and had such admiration for them, I know he couldn't wait to get closer to them. He was a wonderful, thoughtful son who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He deeply loved his family and we deeply loved him.
Keyshon meant so much to many people, who's hearts are shattered. As the days pass, we can't help but think of how unfair this is to him. His life was just beginning, and you had so many great adventures ahead of you, so many plans that will be left in wonder.
We will never understand why this happened and we will always think what if or what life would be like with him still here. We will hold on to the precious memories.
Keyshon Jerome Jackson you were literally one of the highlights in our lives everyday from the moment you were born. Being your parents is one of our greatest honours and there will never be a day that goes by that we won't feel blessed to have had you as our son. There are so many things that we loved about you, the biggest one being that your heart was so big always trying to heal anyone sad or upset.
Your sense of humour added levity to any room! Your love for your family was truly second to none. You were always, and we do mean always, true to who you were. You did not sacrifice integrity or compromise your personality to be accepted or popular.
Your genuine spirit and kindness will carry us through, and always make us want to be better version of ourselves. One that you would be proud of! We will strive to emulate and embody everything you stood for. We know you made us better people and for sure better parents. We are incredibly grateful for all of the moments we have to look back on.
Our dearest son we love you forever and always and we may never be able to put into words what your presence in our lives meant to us but please know that your infectious heart, your zest for life, and your entire being makes us not only proud to have been able to call you our son, but also makes us smile through the tears. We cherish each and every moment with you that was given to us and will always do so.
Keyshon is survived by his loving parents Tim and Sheri Jackson, brother Raphael Jackson, and sister Latesha Jackson. Also, survived by grandparents Wayne Jackson, Connie and Jerry Kuntz, Uncles Matthew (Claudia) and Jeremy Jackson. Aunts Hilary Jackson and Buffy Kuntz and great Aunt Marion Yas, cousins and many friends. Predeceased by his grandmother Nina Jackson.
Keyshon you were loved beyond measure and will be missed beyond words. The world is literally never going to be the same place for us.
Forever in our hearts.
