GERONAZZO, KRIS CHESTER

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden

passing of Kris Chester Geronazzo on May 28, 2016.

Kris was born in Castlegar, BC and grew up in the Kootenay

mountains. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner

in life Michelle McCrea along with Buddy the cat, father Ernie Geronazzo, brother Warren Geronazzo, and his four

children, Jasmin (Wade) Smith, Mandy (Kyle) Mitchell,

Kyle (Mel) Geronazzo, Nicholas (Nicki) Geronazzo and

his three grandchildren, Alyssa, Brock and Chloe. Kris is pre-deceased by his mother, Bonnie Sibley and sister Susan Gibbons.Kris spent his younger years working with the

family'sheavy equipment business, and then began his

career as a professional driver with Greyhound, retiring a few years back. Recently he continued his love for driving

by working as the truck driver for the Upper Room

Mission and drove limousine for GB Limousines. These

opportunities allowed him to spread his generous, kind

and calm spirit. He will be deeply missed by all that

came in contact with him. The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road in 琉璃神社, BC.
