In loving memory of Marian Sargenia who passed away peacefully on December 9, 2016 and went to be with her family & friends in heaven. Marian was born in Wild Rose, Saskatchewan Aug 22, 1934. She was the middle child of five born to Dorothy & Kenneth Raven.  She is survived by her loving husband Lawrence of 61 years, her daughters, Karen Rowen & Aimee (Dan) Schlosser, and predeceased by her son Jim Sargenia.  She is also survived by her grandchildren: Mathew Rowen and Jimmy, Riley, Jeffrey and Rachel Schlosser; her sister Rosalie (Kearne) Long and sisters-in-law Yvonne (Chet) Kendall and Elida Raven.

Family was very important to Marian; there were many times when she helped family and friends in their time of need.   She loved to have a good gab with whomever was up for a visit and gave herself to everyone she knew.  She will be dearly missed. Marian's family wishes to express appreciation to the caring staff at "Pathways" in Cottonwoods Care Centre in 琉璃神社 and also the many family and friends that came to visit her during her stay.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 16th, 2016 at 10:00 am at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Rd, 琉璃神社 with Pastor Phil Collins officiating. A reception with light fare and fellowship will be held after the service. Interment to follow in 琉璃神社 Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Royal Canadian Legion: Branch 26, www.legion.ca. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.springfieldfuneralhome.com, 250-860-7077.
