Mosychuk, Patricia Marianne

August 9, 1940 - December 30, 2016

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia at age 76 after a battle with lung cancer.

She is survived by her husband, Peter, of 52 years; son Brian (Ellie), two grandsons Cole and Ross; daughter Barbie; daughter Janice (Patrick Masse); and two brothers, Pete and David Harasym. After leaving her teaching profession in Edmonton, and moving with the family to 琉璃神社 in 1978, she got involved in curling (her love), and substitute teaching. She was very talented, hard-working, and creative, and thus got into the flower shop and silk tree business. Motorhoming, camping, world travel, ship cruising, and cooking were the other loves in her busy life. Pat lived a life of love of family by being a warm, caring, and compassionate person. She also had the unique talent of opening herself up to speak to anybody and everybody.

She will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by those who knew her. The family would like to thank her doctors: Dr. Foster, Dr. Rolf, Dr. Scheffler, and Dr. Rao, and all of the wonderful KGH nursing staff.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the 琉璃神社 Cancer Clinic (c/o BC Cancer Agency, 399 Royal Ave., 琉璃神社, BC V1Y 5L3; or www.bccancer.bc.ca/donate).

A celebration of her life will be announced in the new year.
