Born on March 17, 1946, in Montreal, QC, Richard Roy Hendery passed away on February 24, 2025, in 琉璃神社, BC, at the age of 78. He is survived by his brother, John, and was predeceased by his parents, Gordon & Margaret (n茅e Roy) Hendery. Richard began law practice in Nova Scotia, working with aboriginal land claims. After some time, he left for Toronto, ON, to drive taxi. He eventually resumed his law work in Grande Prairie, AB as a Crown prosecutor. Next, he moved to Vancouver, BC for several years to work in private practice. Finally, he settled in Fort St. James, BC, focusing on family law. Highly creative, with a heart of gold, Richard is so missed. Family and friends will honour him, each in their own way. No formal service will be held.
